Alpine Arborism is a Wellington-based tree services company built around one straightforward principle: do the work the way it should be done, the first time.
Every tree job is a one-off. Different species, different sites, different risks. The thing that stays constant is how the work is done: walked first, planned carefully, executed with the right gear, finished with a properly cleaned-up site.
We work to established arboricultural good practice. Cuts placed correctly, loads rigged properly, the right gear for the site. Bad pruning and rushed removals are the reason trees end up dying back, splitting in storms, or coming down on rooves a few seasons later.
Every quote is written and itemised. Site access, the work itself, brash handling, stump grinding, and disposal each appear as separate line items. No “from $X” pricing and no “we’ll see how we go” surprises. If a quote needs to vary on site (an unexpected dead inner trunk, a buried boundary line) we tell you before we proceed, not after.
If there’s a genuine need to remove a council-protected or Notable Tree, safety, structural failure, irretrievable health, we can put together the case and approach council on your behalf to argue for consent. The final decision rests with the council, but we’ll give the application its best chance.
Wellington City and the Hutt Valley (Lower and Upper Hutt), plus Porirua and surrounding suburbs. If you’re right on the edge of that zone, get in touch and we’ll let you know whether we can help.
Send photos and a few details, written quote within one working day.
